East Timor's Prosecutor-General says a man with dual Timorese-Australian citizenship has been arrested in connection with attacks last week on the country's President Jose Ramos-Horta and Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao.
But the man is not among 17 for whom arrest warrants were issued last week.
As published in abc.net.au, Longuinhos Monteiro says the man might be charged with conspiracy to commit crimes against the state, and the attempted murder of the two leaders because he had information about a crime but did not report it.
